Today over at Muffin Tin Monday Michelle's theme of the week was 4th of July!

Two days ago, while looking around on the internet for fun kid food options with a 4th of July theme I came up with very little that was healthy. So I set out to make a menu that wouldn't be completely loaded with junk, but also not devoid of fun. Armed with a few goodies from market yesterday, I set it my mission to make a healthy lunch that was loaded with red, white, and blue.

Top: This cup was filled with raspberry lemonade with frozen blueberries in it (it looked really good, but they got a hold of it), and then large pretzel rods, and a star shaped sandwich.

Bottom: Orgnaic strawberries and blueberries from the market seperated by homemade whipping cream. Cream cheese to dip the pretzels in and sprinkles to decorate them with.

MTM to ITBE by dolljunk

I’ve been meaning to set aside some time to try putting some jointed limbs onto my ITBE body cuz it uses the Poppy Parker sculpt and my Cate head looks better on that neck sculpt than any Barbie body.

I was going to use the Asian MTM body cuz it matched the torso well, but I couldn’t find any I could tear apart so I just used the pink shirt MTM body.

I boiled both of the dolls’ arms then pried them off the plastic shoulder joints and did a basic straight swap. The MTM arms fit perfectly on the ITBE torso but the MTM shoulder posts are too wide to fit the ITBE arms.

I cut off the rubber legs and left the internal skeleton bits on the hips. I was going to just swap the legs but the ITBE hips are far too tiny to accommodate the hips so I just snapped both torso joints and glued the ITBE torso onto the MTM lower half.

It’s not perfect but hey I don’t need to spend $$$ trying to get my Cate Blanchett head an expensive IT body lol.

So I said I’d give this a go; the curvy body is obv the wrong colour but I think she’d be a great colour match for the #MTM dancer, I really like her on the curvy. The bonus to the DC girls body (left) is that she can still wear her own clothes by alexmadalton

When I bought my Princess of Japan doll to rebody I felt kind of bad just leaving a perfectly good body and outfit sit in the box so I shoved on a spare MTM Lea head. However the skin tones never matched so I’ve been sort of planning to give her Geisha makeup to cover up the mismatch.

I decided not to go overboard with it in terms of patterns and shading but rather chose a simplistic look to not overwhelm the kimono she’s wearing lol.

Am 01.09.2007 feierte man in Potsdam das Jubiläum „100 Jahre elektrische Straßenbahn“ mit einem umfangreichen Sonderfahrtenprogramm. Zum Einsatz kamen auch Gastfahrzeuge. Weiteste Anreise hatte offensichtlich der vom Verein „Museumstramway Mariazell“ (MTM) bereit gestellte Wiener Zweiachser 299 „Typ D“ von 1900.

Über die Charlottenstr fährt der Wiener Oldie 299 in Richtung Pirschheide Bahnhof.
