The now ageing container ship, MSC Roberta [IMO 9038907] having been pulled off No. 10 NQ berth by Svitzer Eagle and Svitzer Falcon is photographed edging towards the entrance channel to Fremantle Port and onwards to Gage Roads and her next port of call, Singapore.

With a carry capacity of 14.3K TEU, MSC Aries has more than enough containers for the APM Terminal at Pier 400 to work for the next few days, as the VLCS direct from Shanghai, China takes the viewers choice spot for the duration of it's stay at the Port of Los Angeles.

The biggest containership in the world MSC Mina built by shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) on her maiden call to port of Rotterdam. Three weeks ago the sister ship MSC Gulsun built by shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) visited Rotterdam for the first time.

Both ships has the same dimensions. But the bridge is obviously different.

A Freighter built long ago for which pictures were never really realeased. It features MSC II containers (Microscale Space Container). It has a couple turrets to defend itself from pirate raids and a small maintenace unit that can be "docked" on its nose (like its the case here). That Maintenance unit can grab any of the 3 kinds of containers the ship carries.

MSC Virtuosa in Rotterdam City.

MSC Virtuosa departing Greenock Ocean Terminal heading to her next port of call, Belfast. MSC Virtuosa is the largest cruise ship (by tonnage) to visit the River Clyde and this was her maiden visit to the Clyde. She was supposed to make her maiden visit to the River Clyde in June, however, Scottish Government COVID rules meant this had to be cancelled. MSC Virtuosa has a tonnage of 181,541 GT and is capable of carrying 6300 passengers on her 16 decks. Capacity on this UK cruise is capped at 1000 passengers due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.
