The CCAV has less room for passengers and cargo than the baseline KAMAZ 5602, due to the KDP "Rys" turret requiring more space for operating systems and ammunition storage. Most of this is fitted in the CCAVs rear compartment.
If you have seen the latest Die Hard Movie then you probably recognize the vehicle. This beast of a truck pulverized dozens of vehicles as well as part of a statue and a couple freeway bridge abutments. Dartz is known for building high end armored luxury vehicles as well as military personnel transporters. The Kombat MRAP was designed specially for the movie with only four built. There aren't any specifications for it but I guessed that it is based on the US Military M35, so I built a Hercules LDT-465 turbo diesel for it. Built for the 64th LUGNuts challenge "Mad Motor Skills"
The self propelled artillery variant was very well accepted by the IRT forces as it provided a cheap, mobile, and effective artillery system with the mobility of an 8x8 vehicle. One problem experienced with it however is that it is very top-heavy meaning crews cannot off-road as much as they can with other variants.
I am really happy with the angles on the turret for this thing. Also hopefully there are enough optics on there for you guys. :D

Quick little scene, rain kept me inside toady.
Back story is Russia invaded France, Spain, and Belgium while simultaneously attacking Poland, Slovakia, and Hungry via Ukraine. Part of a campaign to take over Europe for territorial and economic gains.
Here a joint task force of US and German troops are patrolling in Paris and come under ambush by Russian ground forces.

A lightweight Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle designed and produced by the PGZ SA in Poland. It's main task is to conduct reconnaissance and hit-and-run sorties alongside the enemy lines.
I decided to add some firepower and kit that a recon/support vehicle should have. This now has two FN Minimi machine guns. One for top cover and a pintle mount for the co-driver.

Kate and I went to the Lt. Dan Band benefit concert for Operation Support Our Troops - IL (OSOT-IL)
International MaxxPro mine-resistant ambush-protected MRAP. They had one of these on display. 1200 are being sent to Iraq and Afghanistan. These vehicles "feature special armoring and an innovative V-shaped hull design to protect our soldiers and Marines overseas from the detonation of mines and roadside bombs."
I hope it works and protects our protectors.

While originally developed to fight a low intensity conflict characterized by IEDs, the M-ATV's defensive package provides effective protection for a modern conventional conflict as well, with the armored cabin capable of withstanding most small arms fire. The continuing development of the Active Protection System also provides some security against larger ordinance, such as an RPG.
In addition to four side doors and a split rear hatch, the KAMAZ 5602 also sports three roof hatches – two in front and one at the rear. Though some of the earliest KAMAZ 5602s were delivered with a conventional diesel engine, a newer hybrid engine has later become standard.

The near one is a 35mm light gun. Good for taking out Humvees and MRAPs, and, with some luck, and IFV. Only good for MBTs if you want to piss it off.
The larger one is a 105mm, based on the M101. Good for bombardment and light AT work.

Standard armament for the AGPV version of the KAMAZ 5602 is a Kongsberg Defence M226 Sentry RWS, which is being license-produced in West-Russia by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau and sporting an indigenous 12,7mm heavy machine gun. Taking a more offensive role, the CCAV (Close Combat Armoured Vehicle) version of the KAMAZ 5602 sports the same type of turret as the BMP-6 IFV with a 30mm auto-cannon.
