More "test shots" with the MP-E65, on the easiest live subject around at the moment - the seven spot ladybird. I'm finding it easier to shoot at 5:1 now, but find I need to break off the leaf that the subjec tis on, put it on a hard surface and brace myself and the camera to get a stedy enough shot. Tripods = impossible for this rig, and frankly not necessary. Quite pleased with the lighting I am achieving too - just using the Lumiquest Softbox, with a bit of tissue stuffed in it.

My friend Tommy Yune of Harmony Gold gave me this at Tekkoshocon. Another toy I cherish.
