My old room, after all the stuff I was taken had gone. Movers having taken the big stuff, the rest now loaded in a car, leaving behind some furniture for the next lucky inhabitant.
I'm now up in Auckland (I took this last Friday), and I've booked a week in a hostel for me to find somewhere to live. This adventure looks like it's going to happen, really soon now too.
Andrea had the same Sigmund Freud action figure as us! It was a great confirmation that we both were alike in many ways. However, the difference in the quality of the two boxes was a secondary commentary on just how different our life experiences were, despite our similarities. Ultimately & unfortunately, our differences mattered more than our similarities. R.I.P. Andrea.

Jim moved out on Saturday morning. Have to get the room dusted and cleaned for a prospective new roommate coming to look at it in a few days.

Formerly an NBC affiliate, then independent, then My TV Network, now sharing space with ABC7 along the embarcadero at 900 Front St, San Fancisco.
Moved out today. I may be a little scarce the next week or so, but don't worry. I'll be doing my daily shot.
My parents are having a divorce and my mother is moving into a place of her own. This was my childhood home, and when I visited it in order to help my mother in carrying the stuff I wanted to visualize the material dissapearance of the home. Memories will stay.
As we break down the place where we've lived for 14 years, room by room, I thought I'd like to capture the process. What you'll see here isn't art, far from it, but it is a story of sorts.
Here is our kitchen. Those piles of stuff on the table aren't accidental piles. We don't really have a staging area in here, so we end up sorting and packing from imperfect places. I keep reminding myself that once the stuff is packed and out, the hardest part will be over. The apartment we're leaving is less than 350 square feet. The house to which we're moving is 750 square feet, and we're also leasing garage space from our new landlord, so we'll have plenty of storage space. The mind boggles, it really does.

Well we all moved back to our homes and its sad! As much as I'm excited to be out of school I really wish everyone would just stay in town. After living with 2 people and seeing them every single day! it was really hard to leave! I will see one of my roommates quite a bit this summer cuz we live close to each other and going to Eliches and water world!!! But the other is allllll the way in Minnesota and I wish I could just pack my self in her dads SUPER bomb colored suite case and make the trip out with her! Imma miss you SOOOO much you dont even know! I couldn't ask for a better friend! And I cant wait to come visit chu! :D Love ya Swissy!
