we caught this guy slithering across the trail—he moved way too much like a snake, but he is indeed a lizard with very tiny legs.
Frankly I'm not sure where these were taken. Probably on the Butterfly Trail.

That's Mount Lemmon in the distance. It's about an hour's drive from Tucson and it has the most southern ski resort in the US.
So I still don't understand exactly where the spring is - not sure if we missed it because it is currently dry or if it is because I just don't quite understand where it is... (There are reports on HikeArizona of dry this May but dripping last August).
Taken on a short hike on the Lemmon Park and Lemmon Rock Lookout trails.
