Mount Wieżyca with an old look-out tower called many years ago the Bismarck Tower. Also a forest of dwarf oaks and wooden sculptures near "Shelter under Wieżyca".

Mount Batur - one of the active volcanoes in Bali. The last eruption was on year 2000. The dark material was lava flows, you can see how they cover everything.
The photo was taken in Kintamani, it showed a little bit of the lake Batur. You could view the map, the satellite photo is astonishing!
New Hampshire Route 112 drives past Mount Moosilauke where the Appalachian Trail descends the giant to cross the road. I parked at the AT trailhead only to be advised that it would be easier and safer to ascend from the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge. So I hopped back in the car for the 30-minute drive around to the lodge.

My wife bought some flowers for her flower bed almost a decade ago, beside one of the flowers this little apple tree started growing. The next year I transplanted it to the yard. I sort of got lazy and never staked so it grew a lil crooked, as you can see. I don't know what kind of apples they are but are the largest and best tasting apples around. One of my senior's suggested his next shoot be underneath of it. I then started wondering how a night shot would look and thought I'd test it out before trying his portrait. Lighting info....... one Lp160 mounted in tree shinning dwn and one hand held over camera.
