Mount Nebo
Het weidse landschap van Mount Nebo strekt zich uit onder een heldere middaghemel, met glooiende heuvels bezaaid met olijfbomen en ruïnes die getuigen van een rijke geschiedenis.

Mount Nebo is een berg in Jordanië, ongeveer 810 meter boven zeeniveau. Het is een belangrijke religieuze plaats, omdat het de plek is waar Mozes volgens de Bijbel het Beloofde Land zag. Vanaf de top biedt het uitzicht op de Jordaanvallei, de Dode Zee en op heldere dagen zelfs Jeruzalem.

This building isn't technically on their "walking tour," but it's the reason I came into town. The cool look of this building is definitely underappreciated.

Downtown Mount Airy, North Carolina. Note the "Mayberry" store. Actor Andy Griffith was born in Mount Airy, and the town is believed to have been the basis for Mayberry, the setting of the TV shows, The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry RFD. Until he returned to Mount Airy, 45 years after the show, Griffith denied the connection. Three Ford Galaxie police cars, painted to resemble those used on the show, give rides to tourists. A barber shop has been named "Floyd's", and a salvage yard has the name Mayberry. One of the attractions is the Andy Griffith Museum, which attracts 200 visitors a day.
