A bright and frosty morning made such a change from the recent fare ... these sheds were once fully overgrown, but a summer or two back the owners took it upon themselves to clear the scrub, and ever since then I've thought that they were asking for a picture to be taken of them
As I drove by this morning I thought that the light, and time was right ... and I had the camera ... so here they are :-)
This was supposed to be a night shot of the Corgi Plaxton Panorama but as i'd forgotten to move the milk float its going to have to be a winters morning instead.
The Leopard has its headlights lit though the driver is no where to be seen, probably in the drivers crew room in the warmth having a brew before heading out. Peg-leg Pete, still on his crutches is going for his morning paper whilst a Police Hillman Imp can be seen behind getting ready for the morning rush hour whilst a class 47 diesel locomotive lurks in the shadows on the viaduct.
Imagine a slow sunday morning with a nice cup of coffee in the early sunlight that shines through your windows.

Terrible light, camera problems and Voila...poorly exposed, noisy image..so I tried to make Lemonade out of Lemons...you want to be gritty looking well ok then.

Looks like he is saying.."If he pulls on my mouth one more time..it's to the moon!"

Before work I dropped off my car at Superior Auto on Main Street to have him check out the AC and faulty fuel gauge, and this abandoned building is next door... (It was $68 to re-charge the AC, but it's going to be $3-400 to replace the sensor for the gas tank, so that's gonna wait!) :-o

This Shrub Rose (Belle Story) is a stand out in the garden, it has very bright Beautiful golden stamens which glow in the morning light and the bees love this rose, has single blooms and multi blooms per stem.
Walking with a friend this morning in a natural area called The Weaselhead ... the dogs had a blast by the water ... this is only about 5 minutes by car (15 by bike) from my house in inner-city Calgary. This is one of those photos where the image really looks like what the eye saw naturally - lovely colours on a fall day.
"The morning cup of coffee has an exhilaration about it which the cheering influence of the afternoon or evening cup of tea cannot be expected to reproduce."
