An HST speeds through Wistow as the sun rises
For reference Crane's Lock is just visible through the gap between the trees if you follow the line of the footpath down the field
This is a three-image composite I put together for Sliders Sunday: two shots of the same dove + Mt Tamalpais in the background. I used Topaz ReMask 4 to select the doves and PSE 11 to put it all together.

The high tide swamps the ramp to the jetty as rain clouds roll across Port Phillip Bay. This shot was taken shortly after a very cool sunrise, which left numb fingers to fumble around with the camera controls. Gloves are now part of the kit!
Foggy morning on Big Moose Lake as seen from the Covewood Lodge in the Adirondack Mountains, New York.
I combined the original image with a Topaz Impressions filter (don't remember which one) to give the image a painterly feel. Topaz also added a nice subtle texture to the image for added interest in the "flat" areas.
Morning fog in Shenandoah National Park.

70021, "Morning Star", seen en route to Minehead at Blue Anchor for the West Somerset Railway's Spring Gala. The loco is actually 70000 "Britannia" but assumed the name of Morning Star for the "Steam in South Wales" Gala theme.
From a Memorial Day morning drive in the country. I almost missed this scene as it was tucked away on a bend in the road. Fortunately it was early morning so the traffic on this back country road was nonexistent. Gave me time to enjoying this lovely scene while I shot a few frames.

Taking this picture in the thermal bog zone of Rotorua, New Zealand, was quite a challenge considering that a rising sun and billowing steam altered the exposure time from one moment to the next.
What came out of it, reminded me of the song »Morning has broken«.
Maybe this is how earth looked like, when life made its way from water to land.
The sheep were staying warm in a sunny spot. They abandoned the shy act.
The snow fog adds a nice touch.
(It make a nice photo on canvas.)
The bright rays of the morning sun start to light up the trees and the day.
Sunset and sunrise can make for interesting black and white pictures as the light provides great contrasts and a multitude of different tones.
Taken in my garden in North Norfolk, England.
