"When Can I See You Again" - Owl City
It's been fun but now I've got to go
Life's way to short to take it slow
But before I go and hit the road
I gotta know, 'til then...
When can I see you again
Last guests have left after a fun-filled two weeks of entertaining capped off by a wonderful family reunion.

Deep inside a Morning Glory flower...
I couldn't decide whether to upload this same image but with the beetle in focus and the stigma and anthers out of focus. In the end I went with this one where the flower parts are in clear focus and the bug is lurking in the background :)
I love the white walls of this delicate flower here, the backlighting being the direct sunshine outside of the flower.
Enjoy!

Here people grow 100 tastes of wine. There are 10 lakes at 30 km. Here is the heart of energy, the Dukovany nuclear power plant. Here is a beautiful landscape. Here people sing and dance. Here people believe in God. It's a good place to live, I don't bother! Too bad that in winter there is a terrible cold!
After nearly two months of drab, dull and gray weather, it is pure therapy to dive into the picture archive and dream away into a world of warmth, color and light.

I dont think there is one thing in focus here! lol!! Regardless this shot reflects how I am not as much of morning person as I thought I was and I am a fan of lens flare which happened while I was in my morning daze so I think I liked the result of that! :)
For several days the sun and moon were red, the air was full of smoke and ash fell like snow. Forest fires in my beautiful state of Washington and neighboring state of Oregon have burned over 200 thousand acres of forest.

So....I broke down and paid for a Pro membership. It was just too hard to stay away from Flickr. I haven't really been out much with my camera over the last month or so but I have been enjoying lots of free time lately. ....I'm glad to be back!
Early morning sunrise warming up the hills looking south from Te Mata peak toward Mt Erin. Hawke's Bay , New Zealand
Love this tree, lightening damaged, is a unique feature in this local landscape... the side light from the early morning sunrise was gorgeous - the vivid colours in the sky a real treat (and a reward) for an early rise and 25 minute walk to get this image.
I took this shot one morning last March off US-12 somewhere West of Lewiston Idaho, I believe somewhere near Pomeroy, Washington but not exactly sure. I walked along the ledge and ended up with quite a few pictures that I liked. As I recall, it was early, the sun hadn't been up long, but the clouds obscured most of the direct sunlight, so pretty much had cloud filtered light.
Tonight I'm in Otay Mesa, which is near San Diego and just about as close to Mexico. When you exit off I-5 onto I-905 then look right from the overpass, you can see into Tijuana. In fact my internet speedtest app on my phone thinks I'm in Tijuana. I use to worry T-Mobile would charge me for international data usage, but they never have, somehow they know I'm still on this side of the California border wall.

Thank you all known and unknown friends in Flickr for your visit
I want to thank you all for your beautiful inspiring images I see in my feed each morning.
The fact that in such unprecedented times we can still make beauty with our cameras and share it is a wonder in itself.
Each and everyone of us, in each and every country, is facing an invisible enemy, yet with limited resources, limited space, curfews, boundaries, isolation and no new adventures to inspire our creativity we still share the most amazing images I've seen to date.
Keep safe, keep well, keep finding inspiration and find beauty in the smallest of things.
Here is my Saturday morning with you... KissThePixel2020
