Alex and his tractor - a Christmas present from Debbie and Adrian.

Met the new Canon EOS 5D Mark III (beta) today; had the opportunity to take some snaps in the midst of a rainstorm.

 

Did I say this was a beta version of the final camera?

 

Nice; feels like the Canon EOS 7D, with many of the same features - but it is as different as a Toyota Corolla is from a Lexus. :-)

Norway is a place of endless natural beauty. Incredible fjords, winding small roads, raw tunnels carved through the bedrock and so much more. These images are from summer road trips during 2024.

 

These images do not utilize AI and are original imagery with no items added or removed (such as errant leaves, pieces of trash, or power lines). What you see is as close to the moment as I experienced it.

So Alex went missing in A's garden - after calling out the search party (me, actually), I found him sitting next to the floodlight in the garden.

 

Not on, obviously, but it seems he will seek out "tech" wherever he goes.

 

Oh, man - do I hate flash photography. I never feel I get it right. Anyway, here are a few attempts - during Lee's 21st last night.
