It's Workers' Day in South Africa.

To celebrate, we got Alex his first gardening tool and put him to work.

But - like his Mom - he won't take directions.

Every image is a gentle negotiation between the seen and the unseen.

Black and white portraits and minimalist places dissolve into a calm, lucid silence—where light sculpts the hidden side of the soul and architecture reveals its poetic geometry.

Moments suspended between consciousness and dream, memory and presence, a journey in the language of introspective visual and photographic poetry.

A sliver of sunlight carves a pale arc across a crumbling floor as my eye is drawn through a ragged window frame into a lush tapestry of emerald foliage. The walls’ peeling plaster and faint graffiti whispers stories of abandonment, while outside, vibrant leaves pulse with life and renewal. This chiaroscuro moment - where decaying human traces meet the unbridled energy of nature - invites contemplation on time’s passage and the quiet power of reclaiming growth.

Watching the ball bounce.... again

A narrow alley, silent and dramatic. Looking straight up, the glass windows become a mirrored ladder to the sky. The facades on both sides lean in, textured and aged, as if they’re pressing the sky between them. A single branch peeks in from the top — fragile, almost unnoticed — giving the geometry an organic anchor.

This frame is all about tension and escape. Vienna, once again, seen from a strange and beautiful angle.

Alex trying to touch Bella the kitten; she looks like she wants to swat him, but then ran off.

His mother likes this hairstyle. Me... well. Not really.
