Just caught writing all over mom's favourite chair. Guess who go shouted at? Me -- for not chastising him "immediately", instead of taking a photograph.

It's Workers' Day in South Africa.

To celebrate, we got Alex his first gardening tool and put him to work.

It really is much better viewed on black using Fiveprime's Black Magic

Seems faster; brush adjustments more interactive/intuitive, and export to Flickr from within LR3 works!

Sharpen seems better as well, but I'm not so sure that the new noise reduction is quite as amazing as others have found.

Gotta play, clearly!

Plus I found some really cool pointers on using the new beta here.

Aha. So when you make changes in Lightroom 3 itself (as I did with this photo, just demoing something to someone), it uploads that new photo and replaces the existing one on Flickr. Plus... there's no backup of the original edit, AFAIK?

I Don't Think I Like That Much.

It is a Greek thing. So I've been told.

OK, truth be told: @SamsungSA goes for gold at today's TV launch in Sandton with Olympics gold medal winner Cameron van der Burgh

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there; I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow,

I am the sun on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft star-shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there; I did not die.

As seen at the MTN Fan Zone in Montecasino, Johannesburg - the Netherlands vs Uruguay match.

Fortunately his mother wasn't there to see this. Otherwise I would have been in trouble, deep!
