Sedmi MoodleMoot Hrvatska 2017 održao se u petak, 09. lipnja 2017. godine u Sveučilišnom računskom centru (Srce) u Zagrebu.

I started to hyperlink a gallery to each of the lessons (units) of my online courses on moodle.

People like pictures and colors. Gaming plays in..

Alternative could be "sets":

I would continuously work on my stream. A set would serve as the frame for units/lessons.

Great example: John Suler.

Sets can be large, over 1000 photos. Galleries are limited to eighteen pictures. There is no limit on the number of sets for anybody. The limit on what can be seen on a free account is 200 *photos*. If all of the photos in a particular set are no longer visible on the account, the set will also no longer be visible. Private photos count in that number.

I started an edu set. It's a promising project. Let's meet again here in a couple of weeks to evaluate some results.

One important thing I can say already now:

Sets are a fine way to present specific pictures/pages/thoughts in a bundled way to your friends. But to work daily with your content tags are much faster. I'll plan to get used to tagging speedily.

Tags will gradually be attached to text as content emerges, step by step. Therefore logically a piece of text might have twenty or even thirty tags. The more tags, the more precise the text can be found later in "combined" tag search.

Convergence! The bookmark used to show off the new delicious interface is for Moodle. (Probably unrelated to Blackboard's hamfisted attempts to horn in on the social bookmarking action.) See the original here:

This diagram depicts the way that marks (grades) are synchronised in the XMarks plugin for Moodle.

The key is that a new column has been added to keep track of the mark on the Central Records System. This colunm, xmarks_receipt, is updated whenever the marks are synchronised. If the actual mark does not equal the value of the xmarks_receipt, then the synchronisation process is able to include this record in its dataset.

Innovation in Teaching and Learning TAFE SA North and Learning Materials Unit are working on a joint project to redevelop the TAFE SA Moodle front page and to develop some resources for staff and students on using Moodle.

I took these today following a brainstorming session and "find the resources" day I had with my manager Mark Hunwicks. Currently a lot of different resources exist all over the place and we need to collate what exists and document what else we want to send up to the guys in the Learning Materials Unit.

Between us all we should end up creating some absolutely awesome resources. I can't wait! :-)
