I had a travel sized pillow and some recycled linen fabric, so I made a pillow slip and embroidered it with my initials. Next time I will probably use a bolder thread for the background. (If you look at the larger size photo, you will see the subtle patterning behind the monogram.)
I did this with my Pfaff embroidery machine and the 3D Pfaff embroidery software. I haven't done sewing or embroidery in a while; it was nice to take it up again.
Students created a monogram of their initials to be applied to an object of some kind.

Monogram notes are printed on our reclaimed cotton stock in pearl white. Apple green ink. This was printed as a bridesmaids gifts, so there were 8 monograms in all!
