I decided to give Kevin his undying request for a mohawk......not a "true" mohawk thankfully, but he still looks cute nonetheless!

Mohawk Chapel was built in 1785 and was originally called St. Paul’s Royal Chapel of the Mohawk’s, the Oldest Protestant church in Ontario. It originally faced the river but was later turned to face 301 Mohawk Street in Brantford. (http://www.mohawkchapel.ca)

There was a spot up a tall hill from where you can see NY, MA and VT! It's on the Mohawk Trail. Pretty cool, eh?

Was sitting by Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park when this bird landed a few feed away from me.

The first mohawk made its debut a few posts back if you are interested. I think I like the first one better and it is hard not to compare even though they are two totally different images.

 

Another simple composition here. Nothing more than levels, slight desaturation, slight vignette and a minor 3:2 crop.

 

Thanks for all the comments lately and I want to say "Welcome" to the influx of new visitors. I am not sure how you found your way to my corner but you are very welcome here. I hope you continue to enjoy sharing in my photographic journey.
