Some of the mills stamps and other equipment are still in the deteriorating building. The stamping mill was built in 1878 for the Plumas-Eureka Mines and eventually had 60 stamps. The stamps were powered by a water wheel supplemented by a steam engine. Now part of Plumas-Eureka State Park, Johnsville, California.
