Found this 1928 quartz claim document folded up in a tobacco tin, half buried up a steep hill nearby a mine. Re-hidden where I found it, a bit more protected from the elements.

This little boy, couldn't have been more than 3 yrs. old, was at the Staind Fall Brawl concert with his parents. His blue mohawk was awesome! Just as I snapped the pic with my camera phone the music started and he turned to look at the stage so it's a bit blurry.
This is possibly a Bangor & Aroostook caboose. Wedged into the Mohawk Station Restaurant. I can't tell about the back side, but the top piece was chopped at the buildings roof. The street light gave me the illumination I needed to take this without using a flash.

Brittany V. as Mohawk Storm, who seems much happier than Mohawk Storm was in the comics. Who cares? She looks awesome as Mohawk Storm.
Technically, there are a lot of things about this photo I hate -- I don't like the too-busy background and the lighting still looks off to me. Storm more than makes up for it though, 'cuz you can feel her energy from the photo.

Nestled within the tranquil embrace of Kings Landing Park, Camp Mohawk once stood as a vibrant haven for African-American youth, a cherished summertime retreat orchestrated by the Baltimore YMCA. Amidst the verdant expanse, rustic cabins provided a cozy respite, while the air crackled with the joyous energy of campfires, swimming, tennis, canoeing, archery, and a symphony of outdoor pursuits.
Of the original cabins that once dotted the landscape, a resilient seven remain, four gracing Camp Cocktown Creek and three standing sentinel at Camp Mohawk Hill. With a steadfast commitment to preserving the camp's rich legacy, meticulous efforts are underway to safeguard the architectural integrity of these enduring structures. Within their walls, timeworn beams bear silent witness to the camp's vibrant past, their surfaces etched with the indelible graffiti of generations of campers, each mark a testament to the enduring spirit of Camp Mohawk.
