This image shows a cross-section of a female Angiostrongylus vasorum specimen, the "French heartworm," a parasitic nematode of dogs and other canids. Red fluorescence highlights the binding of a monoclonal antibody to a target protein, likely ribosomal protein S19e, in the parasite's intestinal lining, while blue DAPI stains mark the nuclei. Ribosomal protein S19e is thought to play a role in host-parasite interactions, potentially influencing immune modulation. Captured using immunofluorescence microscopy, the image reveals the parasite’s intricate molecular architecture. This research sheds light on A. vasorum, a parasite that causes severe cardiovascular and respiratory disease. By identifying key antigens, it paves the way for potential therapeutic targets, improving animal health. The vibrant contrast and structural detail highlight the morbid beauty of parasitic worms, transforming an unsettling subject into a visually compelling microscopic image.

ON Semiconductor's AMIS-49587 is an IEC1334 compliant power line carrier modem using spread FSK (S- FSK) modulation for robust low data rate communication over power lines. AMIS-49587 is built around an ARM 7TDMI processor core, and includes the MAC layer. With this robust modulation technique, signals on the power lines can pass long distances. The half-duplex operation is automatically synchronized to the mains, and can be up to 2400 bits/sec. The product configuration is done via its serial interface, which allows the user to concentrate on the development of the application. The AMIS-49587 is implemented in ON Semiconductor mixed signal technology, combining both analog circuitry and digital functionality on the same IC.

“Fades” is an installation for a specifically designed environment. A fine haze of mist is introduced into a space in which the white light of the projection manifests itself. The light gradients based on linear and logarithmic wave modulations move in synchrony to the sound creating a variety of shapes and structures. The main focus does not lie on the image projected, but on the three-dimensional light sculpture in the space. Similar to the essence of music“fades”establishes a visual language that is able to communicate what is outside of our usual systems of understanding.

This painting is a striking demonstration of Seurat's pointillist technique. The modulation of light and shadow on the wall is achieved with the use of small dots of pure colour juxtaposed in varying concentration and intensity.
The young model depicted by Seurat was his mistress, Madeleine Knobloch, who bore him two sons. This painting thus takes on a very personal meaning.

Here, the hero is with his neighbour (rather sister) Janani. She is a wonderful singer. In this tender age, she sings very well with good modulation. When we asked her to sing, she started as if like a machine, without a bit of hesitation. Once I took this shot, I pointed Nishanth in the photo and asked him 'who is that?' - he said 'who knows? it's someone else' instantly.
Then he said 'show me the photo where Janani walks hand in hand with me'. I said I haven't even taken such kind. He said 'then take one and show me know?!!'
