We all know a 4-player version game. Few years back I made this modular version which allows different number of players - from 2 to 13 (there were 13 different colors for cones and tiles back then). Now it is possible that there are more colors available.
I haven't played the 13-player version yet - just can't find enough players.
2-player game is very nice - it ends quickly because it is very short. Even younger kids love it and don't get bored.
I will replace cones with minifigs. Currently I am in a process of getting all the parts.

recently I've started to check my polish convention book seriously and fold some things. the book is really quite the treasure box, in particular if you're looking for models connected to the number 12.
this is modular star by maria sinayskaya. it's exactly easy to identify a particular star from maria's vast universe but I'm pretty sure that it's one of these beauties. the paper format is right at least - it's folded from 12 rectangles of 1:sqrt(3) proportions.

Modular crochet uses rectangular squares to construct the garment. The book by Judy Copeland, "Modular Crochet" is out of print but you can borrow it from a public library.
More pictures of the colony ship. I actually prefer the shorter variants pictured at the end. Also much easier to move around. The completed thing falls apart a lot when moved even slightly.
When I tear it apart perhaps I shall post more pictures, but there's nothing especially exciting going on internally, apart from maybe the bridge.
Apologies for the lack of post-production on these, but I simply don't care enough to faff around trying to remove backgrounds, etc. I'm impressed by the clean photography from many of you, but I'm not that person.

Electronics designed in Fritzing for a clock. The far left section is the main module and includes a real time clock. It also displays the first digit in the mechanism it's attached to (still working on that) and transmits the remaining numbers to the next module. the next module displays the first number and passes the rest along to the next module. This continues until there are no more modules. The design in this picture includes 1 master and 3 slave modules.
