I finally got to really investigate a Model X in person today, and the thing is seriously gorgeous. The windshield is something you have to see in person, the falcon wing doors are even cooler than I thought they would be–even the design of the sun visors is thoughtful and intelligent. I’m still probably three years away from it even being a possibility, but I will definitely be aiming towards an X for my next car.
I wish I was more compatible with the other Tesla owners who came out there, but I feel very much like an outlier in terms of the type of person who buys these cars. Oh well. I didn’t buy the thing so I could be in a club, I guess.
