1927 Duesenberg Model X Sedan
Custom Body by Brunn & Co. – Buffalo, New York
DUESENBERG’S LAST STAND!
The Model X was Duesenberg’s attempt to update the Model A—on a very limited budget. One of four believed left in the world, this Model X Sedan is extremely rare. It is believed that only 13 Model X’s were built. The body for this car was built by Brunn and is in original unrestored condition—it has its original paint, interior, hat holder in the ceiling along with the center-mounted headlight. The Model X differed from the Model A in some subtle ways. It featured a new suspension, hypoid differential and a more powerful engine with a reverse-flow head and features hydraulic brakes. The Model X was the last Duesenberg designed by Fred Duesenberg before the arrival of E.L. Cord.
This Model X was originally owned by the chief of engineering at General Electric who added experimental equipment on the car during his ownership.

The occasion of the visit of the Cannstatter Wasen was a business meeting near Stuttgart. Our host sent us a taxi to the airport. Not an ordinary one, as you can see, but a Tesla Model X. I was impressed! None of us 5 passengers had a space problem. Our two female colleagues make it comfortable in the third row right now

The car? Tesla Model X.
Photo taken through open rear gull-wing rear door (check for clearance in your garage, or local shopping centre multi-storey car park before purchase). Tesla call them "Falcon Wings".
"The 'Falcon Wing' doors are a nice gimmick and a suitable party piece, but in practice they are more annoying than fun. The annoying beep that plays is one thing, but they're slow to open and close, and seem to get upset easily by people standing nearby, tripping the sensors that stop them opening into a wall or roof. A set of normal doors would just be better – as boring as it sounds - although the access to the back seats is admittedly very good with them open."

The Tesla is the only manufacturer to include a 'Ludicrous Mode' (yes, really) on their cars, enabling the car to reach 60mph in 2.9 seconds. Electric motors have serious torque capabilities over the victorian era Internal Combustion Engine.
