Bandai's R2-D2 and R5-D4 model kit set. It's been a long time since I've put together a model kit so I decided to make R5-D4 first. I think it turned out really well and it's completely in-scale with Hasbro's Black Series figures. Building the model wasn't difficult but some of those tiny stickers/decals were a nightmare. Now to start R2....
This self propelled howitzer was created by combining the M4 Sherman tank with the M1 105mm Howitzer. The nickname "Priest" was given to that vehicle because the round enclosure for the AA machine gun looks like the culprit in a church.
this was the revell red and flamed thunder bolt which i loved the kit but not the glamour of it all so i went flat white and black steelies then got in the mood to strip a nhra 63 impala die cast and up date it some still got trim to paint but had only one can of ford paint so i painted it powder blue
Finished in 63 Squadron Markings circa 1982.
The kit also includes Metal Pitot Tube, Metal undercarriage, CMK FOD Guards, CMK Flaps, Aires Mk 10 Ejection Seats.
A really nice kit to build with the extras
