A recent return engagement to actually figure hunting in person brought me to a local place entirely dedicated to model kits, specifically Gunpla imported from Japan. I hadn't built a Gundam kit in many years, and I was about to buy another one when I stumbled into something that struck my interest. Unbeknownst to me, Bandai has a relatively newer series of model kits known as the "30 Minutes Sisters," a line of mecha women whose namesake is taken from the average time it takes to assemble them. The novelty of building my own figure - namely one in the likeness of a more human/cyborg character - reminded me a lot of Bionicle from my childhood, so I naturally jumped into this new line. I came home from the store with a set of basic model tools and Rishetta, assembling her in admittedly more than 30 minutes. She came with swappable facial expressions and a modular outfit, capable of forming a look that's more "cute" or "mechanized" as desired. This same system is also compatible with Bandai's adjacent lines "30 Minutes Missions" and "30 Minutes Fantasy," effectively leaving the customer with the tools to make their own action figure. Needless to say, Rishetta is a welcome addition to my collection, and she already took some time to make her excitable temperament apparent.

Here is my 1/48 scale Monogram model UH-1B Iroquois photoshopped over sand dunes. I flew in the real one over Stockton Beach sand hills a great many times. The kit is really a UH-1C, but I modified to represent a RAAF B model with rescue hoist. Decals came from the scrap box.
Here we have my first attempt at staging a 1/72 scale WW2 sunset view on a remote Pacific Island strip to our north. My HobbyBoss 1/72 scale P-40's and a pre made 1/72 Jeep.

Both an interstellar seed and carrier warship, Sidonia is one of the many seed carrier ships that houses the surviving remains of humanity after the destruction of Earth.
Based on the seed ship from the manga and anime series "Knights of Sidonia" (or "Sidonia no Kishi"). For more interesting information about this ship, I highly recommend visiting the Wiki.
I've used this model kit as a source for this build. Especially as a guide for the shape, color (which is more brownish in the anime) and size of the asteroid.
This also concludes a WIP process which was pretty interesting on a personal level, with lots of trial and error and helpful feedback from fellow builders.
