Rockman Zero plastic kit by Kotobukiya. Easy build. Cool figure. Articulation is decent enough to pull off cool poses, but not as extreme as I'd like.
I sprayed the figure with flat coat spray. The fingers were sprayed with light grey primer, then flat white, followed by flat coat. Finished off with panel line.
The robot cat in the background is Zoids Saix model kit by Kotobukiya. Too bad I didn't have the modeling skills then that I do now.

My favourite mid size pickup! Sadly there are very few models available and even those are super expensive. Had to resort to a model kit assembly and the results were not really perfect. Still so pleasing to the eye!

As a teenager and young adult, I loved building 1/12 scale model kits. Unfortunately, not a single one has survived. These are Bandai T-Fords.
A little lockdown project
I bought a gundam model kit in Japan last year and eventually got around to making it! I decided to have a go taking a photo of it using some lights and a smoke pellet... this was the result
I bought and built this kit in 1970. Like most models of the era, the box art was hand painted and looked better than the model ever could. I've also posted a later version of this art here earlier. This 1/35 kit was priced at $8 in 1970. At the time, it was the most expensive model I had purchased.
