This is basically a pre painted model kit that I repainted using the CGI renders as reference. The model itself is one of the most accurate looking figures (or even statues for that matter) of the Bay-verse Optimus Prime, so adding a paint job just makes it look spot on. The truck parts were coated using an automotive clear coat, so it's super shiny.
Finally I added light up eyes, which really seal the deal and bring this guy to life!
The blades are removable by removing the forearm panels and he also features a interchangeable faceplate (regular mode with mouth and battle mode)
Just for the record, this model is almost the same size as ROTF leader class Prime and a little taller than MP-10.

My brother built and painted this way back in 1963 and I've kept it all these years. His right eye and his back used to have more red paint on them. I painted flesh over the red when I was a kid because I felt sorry for him. Now I wish I left it how my brother originally painted it.
The air-landing "Helldiver" is built almost 100% out of the box - just some hydraulics were added inside of the opened air brakes on the lower legs, and the head received some hydraulic rams as added details.
Furthermore the cockpit hatch was with the pilot lifted high enough to have a look "out of the Labor's breast" - it's actually a 1:72 figure, but it's acceptable as a 1:60 Japanese person ;)
Painting was done with Tamiya Acrylics, and the kit slightly weathered/dusted.
The small diorama was built on a 8x8" base, with real wood pieces and real earth for the forest ground it is supposed to simulate. Additionally, some moss and foam leafs were used.
Here's the reissue of the classic 60's model kit of The Munsters family car The Munster Koach. I'm a much better model builder when it comes to figures. My 50 something eyes had problems with this one as I messed up on the positioning of some of the motor's parts. Anyhow it came out pretty good and I'm ready to park it at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.

Hace un par de semanas me acerqué a casa de mi amigo Álvaro que es un experto maquetista, y su colección me dejó literalmente con la boca abierta.
Al verlas todas expuestas en vitrinas transparentes y tan bien terminadas, no hicieron falta ni cinco minutos para que empezara a imaginar lo bien que podrían quedar algunas fotos al aire libre simulando que son vehículos reales.
En su colección tiene aviones, carros de combate, helicópteros, vehículos blindados y hasta submarinos; pero fue el VCR-105 Centauro el que me más me llamó la atención por su gran parecido al vehículo real y con el que más fácil me resultaría conseguir unas fotos en las que una maqueta de 30cm pareciese un vehículo de más de 7 metros y 25 toneladas de peso.
El B1 Centauro es un vehículo blindado de combate de ocho ruedas diseñado para reconocimiento táctico y cazacarros.

An old Hubley kit I bought in an antique store recently. It was partially built, but unpainted, and with none of the metal parts cleaned or filed (what was this builder thinking!?!?) So i tore it down, did all the metal, and body work, and this is how it came out.
I kept it simple and box stock, since its an antique. I'm also dsplaying it with the original box.
