I got a chance to drive our neighbours Tesla. What a cool car! All instruments panels are on the computer screen. Obviously its super quiet and has some crazy acceleration. The regenerative breaks were kind of different, but also pretty cool, although I did miss the rumble of the engine.
Dexter: "Where are you going? Wait!"
Hal: "Whereever it shall please me for I have done with thee."
Dexter: "I don't speak Shakespeare."
Hal: "Get lost!"
Dexter: "Please listen to me, I need your help!"

The Tesla Design Studio is next to SpaceX in LA. Franz and team have sculpted a visual beauty, while achieving an impressively low coefficient of drag (essential to EV efficiency).
I recently interviewed Elon about design and aesthetics, and he offered a fascinating peek into his mind. I stayed with the subject and by minute 46 to 48, he describes his visceral agitation with imperfection, and the need to shut that off sometimes.

TÜV technisch und polizeilich gehört das verboten, wenn Handy am Ohr oder Smartphone Bedienung während der Fahrt verboten ist.
Oder beides ist bedingt erlaubt.
Der vordere Kofferraum erinnert an den VW Käfer.
Die Motor Haube ist innen völlig ohne Dämmung. Was für ein Fauxpas.
Der Verschluss der Motor Haube besteht aus einem einfachen Bügel wie beim FIAT Panda Typ II.
Die Wertigkeit des Fahrzeugs schätze ich auf maximal 35.000 €.
Der Rest ist überbezahlt.
Wo kann man 250 kmh fahren?
Auf der Strecke Mannheim Karlsruhe STUTTGART Tübingen praktisch nie.
10 km sind ohne Tempo Limit oder Baustellen oder Stau.

Das Lenkrad ist weit unter NIVEAU.
Da sind europäische Hersteller viel weiter in der Bedienung und im Design.

Enthusiasmus und Auto sind Geschwister.
Neutral betrachtet gibt es viele Fehler.
Bei Unfällen kann nur ein Brecheisen die Tür öffnen.
Einen bedienbaren Griff gibt es nicht.
Da wird es Tote geben, weil sie im Fahrzeug verbrennen und die Ersthelfer können die Tür nicht öffnen.

Tesla rechnet mit Errichtungskosten von 1,065 Milliarden Euro. Ab Juli 2021 sollen von bis zu 12.000 Beschäftigten im Dreischichtbetrieb in der ersten Ausbaustufe etwa 500.000 Fahrzeuge pro Jahr produziert werden.
Tesla expects construction costs of 1.065 billion euros. From July 2021, up to 12,000 employees in three-shift operation are expected to produce around 500,000 vehicles per year in the first expansion stage.
