- Accurate white balance and very good color rendering.
- The S10+ camera is capable of capturing very nice images in bokeh mode,
simulating the shallow depth of field of a DSLR and fast lens well enough to earn itself one of the best scores in this category so far.
Isolation of the foreground subject is generally very good.

The rough seas had piled the seaweed up on the beach.
Clearly this was a tremendous source of food with all the corvids attracted to it.
Overshadowed by it's larger cousins the rooks and hoodies was the lovely jackdaw.

A side street scene in the Trastevere area in Rome. I tried a monochrome but was not happy with it. I like all the pipes above with a big black stain from a leak or overflow. Also, I like the several windows and the colored e-bikes.

My favorite mode of shooting is in the landscape orientation. i.e. horizontal mode. Only of late have I started shooting more in the portrait orientation, i.e. vertical mode. Maybe this is due to the clear shift from a horizontal computer screen to a vertical smartphone, as our first choice for all things visual.
What is your favorite orientation for reading & visuals?
The ubiquitous electric scooter is everywhere these days, something I actually have no objection to. Anything that gets cars off the road is fine by me as long as they are ridden safely.

The locos had earlier worked 0Q45 (Worksop - Peterborough), 0Q23 (Peterborough - Doncaster) and 0Q26 (Doncaster - Newark Northgate).
