After trying to take the most party-mode-mood-alike pic - jumping off a 80cm public flower-base, I hurt my foot pretty badly - unable to walk, I had to be taken back to the lab.

We have been offline for the past week, enjoying each others company. Rented a small cottage in Galena, Illinois for the past week. Internet was sparse, outdoors was quite, company lovely.
Normally we are not so messy, but, oh heck there is no but. The gin and bourbon were consumed, chips and salsa ate, pineapple devoured. By the time we left, we had cleaned up after ourselves, and wondered if this is what it will be like when we retire. And if it is, well, let's just say we will have smiles on our faces. Take care of one another. B

A small, stocky wading bird, the Green Heron is common in wet spots across much of North America. It can be difficult to see as it stands motionless waiting for small fish to approach within striking range, but it frequently announces its presence by its loud squawking
The Green Heron is part of a complex of small herons that sometimes are considered one species. When lumped, they are called Green-backed Heron. When split, they are the Green Heron, the widespread Striated Heron, and the Galapagos Heron.

A second attempt into Levitation photography. First one was not quite successful. I tried to do my best here as there is a bit of photoshop to remove the object. I hope the end result is attractive enough.
