La palabra modding se suele usar frecuentemente para las modificaciones realizadas a un ordenador o a algo relacionado con él, como son los periféricos, accesorios e incluso muebles que lo rodean.
Ayer me dejé caer por la Navarparty para ver cómo es aquéllo. Unas de las cosas que más interesantes son para mí es el modding, es decir, el arte de construir un ordenador desde cero en la caja que tú mismo te haces. Apasionante. :) Este es un ejemplo, pero había varios más.

Case Lian Li modificato con l'applicazione di griglie ricavate da una lastra di alluminio intagliata a mano con il Dremel. Nel case (un piccolo middle tower) è stato inserito un impianto a liquido completo di pompa, radiatore da 240 mm e ben 3 waterblock su CPU, GPU e northbridge.
