Nome: Galáxia do Escultor, NGC 235
Tipo: Galáxia Espiral
Distância: aprox. 11,4 milhôes de anos-luz
Diâmetro: aprox. 70.000 anos-luz [2]
Magnitude Aparente: 8

Name: Sculptor Galaxy, NGC 235
Type: Spiral galaxy
Distance: ~11.4 million of light-years
Diameter: ~70.000 light-years [2]
Apparent magnitude: 8
Constellation: Sculptor [1]
The Sculptor Galaxy, also known as the Silver Coin or Silver Dollar Galaxy, NGC 253, is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor. The Sculptor Galaxy is a starburst galaxy, which means that it is currently undergoing a period of intense star formation.[1]
The galaxy was discovered by Caroline Herschel in 1783 during one of her systematic comet searches. About half a century later, John Herschel observed it using his 18-inch metallic mirror reflector at the Cape of Good Hope. He wrote, "very bright and large (24' in length); a superb object.... Its light is somewhat streaky, but I see no stars in it except 4 large and one very small one, and these seem not to belong to it, there being many near..."[1]
As one of the brightest galaxies in the sky, the Sculptor Galaxy can be seen through binoculars and is near the star Beta Ceti. It is considered one of the most easily viewed galaxies in the sky after the Andromeda Galaxy.[1]
The Sculptor Galaxy is a good target for observation with a telescope with a 300 mm diameter or larger. In such telescopes, it appears as a galaxy with a long, oval bulge and a mottled disc. Although the bulge appears only slightly brighter than the rest of the galaxy, it is fairly extended compared to the disk. In 400 mm scopes and larger, a dark dust lane northwest of the nucleus is visible, and over a dozen faint stars can be seen superimposed on the bulge.[1]

I was incredibly inspired by electricsheep26354 and his custom landscapes, as well as Tamu\'s awesome Alternative Aspen Trees that look much closer to realistic aspens to me. I\'m working on adding a denser aspen forest to the rift along with new green grasses and aspens. I would have to ask lots of peoples permission to share this, so at the moment it\'s WIP. Let me know what you think.
Insomnia CGI ENB, a little test on downsampling that I did, nothing too extreme but I wanted to mess with the new hair I gave Cassie once again and I am rather much in love with it!
Just kidding.
Ichiro has an older brother, apparently.
Technically speaking, this would be Kagerou again, I guess...?

both SD17 Williams versions (Cruise vs. DP24) have been modded/repainted.

Lego Ideas Voltron Mod.
After doing this mod, all i succeeded was removing the need for parts forming and getting it to pose slightly better. Even if this now has knees due to the sheer weight of the top I could hardly pose it. Whether you think if its worth it to mod personally i don't think it is haha....
Nevertheless it was an exciting challenge modifying this set. This can still separate into the individual lions.

This very faint (14th magnitude) large planetary nebula lies1600 light years away in the constellation of Lynx - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jones-Emberson_1.
The light polluted skies of southern England make it rather difficult to capture in broadband without the use of a city, light, suppression filter, I imaged with and without one at the Isle of Wight and with the Ha 12nm filter under Bortle class 5 skies of Waterlooville. I will return to this beautiful but not so popular object to image in narrowband - and it won't take me six years to complete either!... 😁
