Minolta 5600HSD / Sony FL-56AM Strobist flash mod. This mod makes these flashes much more friendly to use with Pocket Wizards and the like. Be careful when reassembling the flash to make sure that you don't crimp any wires!
The wires for the auto mode sensor were removed and replaced with a 47k ohm resistor. This converted all the auto (color) settings to a 1/8th manual power setting.
Made the same kind of cut we healed up before, moved where I have to run less wire. All of these things wires hook to devices mounted in the top of the bookcase, so they might as well be together.
