The simulation was a collaboration between the criminal justice, accounting, and information and communications technology programs. The scenario involved a gunshot victim with stick drives containing evidence including banking records and ransom notes. It was a wonderful way to demonstrate through one example how the various academic fields and career paths can be closely aligned depending on the situation.

Mock wedding shoot, with other students. This is not the sort of work i typically prefer doing, however it gave me the chance to try new lighting techniques and work with lighting on location.

My grandson participated in a mock trial Friday at the Marion County

Courthouse in Ocala, Florida. His Classical Conversations group

competed against a group from Orange County. The students dressed

professionally and took on the roles of prosecution and defense. They

were well-prepared, articulate, and able to think on their feet. The

feedback from the judge and jury (local attorneys and business owners)

was invaluable.

This was Problem-based learning at its best.

I made these a long time ago. They are actually loom knitted, but the stitch pattern is called mock crochet.

Method: Loom knit

Yarn: Lion Brand Homespun

Looms: Blue Knifty Knitter round loom for the scarf, I think the green Knifty Knitter round loom for the hat.

Pattern: None.
