To edit this image, i used two photos of my sister; One of a mirror in front of her face, and another of her face alone. To begin with, I put both images in black and white and turned up the contrast to enhance the shadows and her facial features (lips, eyes), so the viewers eyes are more drawn to those areas. I then took the photo with the mirror and used the polygonal lasso tool to select the inside of the mirror, i then copied and pasted the outline on to the image of my sisters face alone and used the polygonal tool again to outline my sisters face. I then pasted my sisters face on top of the mirror and turned down the opacity to make it seem as though you could see through the mirror. This shows the complexity of human beings as the mirror represents the facade a lot of people have up, and by being able to see through the facade shows an inner personality that goes unseen. The bare shoulders also contributes to the image looking 'unseen' as it contrasts with the idea of different personalities, skin is a restricted part of us that is being seen in this image, and the mirror also doesn't restrict us from seeing the authentic side to her.

Nine College of idaho students, each playing the role of a particular current justice on the U.S. Supreme Court, barraged local attorneys arguing the cases with questions during the College's mock court class in January 2013. Kerry Hunter, professor of political economy, started the course 18 years ago as a way to introduce students to the Supreme Court. A mock magazine ad created for the same business model that I chose for the same class; the ad had to incorporate a redesigned logo, an advertisement that would actually get customers in the door, as well as a picture of the product or service being offered. This met those criteria.
I made a mockup of an interface I'd like to see for Quicksilver. Would be great if someone could implment it :)

I'm not entirely sure what this is. I thought they were alpine strawberries, but they taste of nothing - not even sweet. Also, the flowers are yellow. Anyone know what they are?
(Any children reading this, DO NOT eat berries when you don't know what they are!!)

This nestling mocking bird was rescued when a local woman's cat brought him into the house. He was just a naked baby when we got him, but is growing like a weed and getting more demanding every day.
