I had the idea for this from one of the singles off of this album, the song 'Free Fallin''. The moon, of course, came from the album title. As I mentioned, I felt the original cover didn't quite match his previous covers or style. He has used paintings for a few of his other albums and these in particular really establish his style in my opinion.

This design is both a personal and indigenous design pattern.

The skull is a decorative middle piece that creates unity, but can also symbolize a person's head. The spider webs are also decorative, but in a indigenous style to amplify the spider's presence. The spiders itself has heavy representation of wisdom. Because in African culture there is a spider deity called Anansi. This deity is known for its wisdom by conveying its pearls of knowledge by telling stories. The color blue itself can represent knowledge and wisdom as well. Both skull and webs are used as away to create harmony in the creative pattern.

My customer fell in love with this diamond shape. The plan is to do it in sterling and gold.

This is a foam core mock-up of a robot operated ice burg harvester.

Baron was kind enough to do round 1 mock-up for future inkwork (will

present the next rounds so people can see how it evolves) with body

paint. Lots of ideas for next round.

The first test fit and it all works! The reaper base will eventually sit about 2' higher than the pedestal and wrapped with trim.
