Film: CineStill 50D Daylight Fine Grain 120
CINESTILL 50Daylight is an EI 50/18° speed daylight balanced (5500K) color negative motion picture film stock for still photography. Based on the original motion picture emulsion, this film is prepped and rolled for clean and safe standard photo lab processing or Cs41 development at home, but it may also be processed in Cs2 chemistry for low-contrast motion picture negatives. Ideal for shooting in bright light at wide apertures and for producing high resolution, low grain images.
The exposure latitude of this film is beyond anything digital and even most other films can hope to achieve. With 50D you can achieve beautiful results by rating it anywhere between ISO 12-100 without the need for push processing. No matter how you meter, you will see almost no grain, but color, contrast, shadow detail and highlight rendering will be affected by the chosen ISO you meter at. If you expose at a lower ISO you will get warmer images with greater halation in the highlights.
It must have been very scary trying to hold this fort as the Japanese forces closed in. These iron figures give it a more real feeling

This is a mock up we did with Kyra Loon. I always loved this pic of her. LOVE that elf. What yall think lol
So partner what do you think? This is not an actual block for your quilt...not the right colors. But, do you like the look? I need to match the seams up a little better. The two on top I foundation pieced to muslin and the bottom two I did not, so I could compare my ability to not let them get wonky. I think this shows that the foundation piecing does help. Assembled this block measures out at 7.5" square.
So partner, should it be all solids or would you rather a tiny little print? How about colors?

Drool Tool Productions needed some scenes of a clown running around posing as room service and scaring people, so, they spent $10,000 for an enormous blowup of an eight story hotel. Turns out, it would have been cheaper to just rent some rooms for a day.

A full-scale model of ESA’s eight-tonne Envisat environmental satellite at the entrance to the Agency’s Space Expo visitor centre in the Netherlands. Space Expo is taking part in Sunday’s Open Day at ESA’s ESTEC technical heart with a special offer.
Open Day visitors can pay €1 to visit Space Expo in full on Sunday – a €10 discount on the standard year-round price (children 4–12 years of age normally pay €7).
This admission price includes a hand stamp so that visitors can return at their leisure throughout the day to visit Space Expo’s unique set of attractions, ranging from engineering models of major European spacecraft and Ariane rocket elements to space-themed rides and even a piece of Moon rock, displayed next to a full-size mock-up of an Apollo lunar module.
Space Expo is open year round, and also offers regular tours of ESTEC to the general public.
Launched in 2002, Envisat remains Europe’s largest satellite for Earth observation, carrying 10 instruments – the predecessor of Europe’s current Sentinel family. Its rectangular radar antenna is seen in front of its body, with its solar wing unfurled behind it.

Here is another mock-up! This one is based off the new animated TV show coming this Fall (?). The far left is final product, middle is what I based it off of, and far right is the base I started with. This custom will probably never be made in real life by me since the pieces required are hard to get (the head and kinda the hair). But anyway, I'm making this a segment and am planning on making more of these mock-ups for the next couple weeks. Hope y'all like it!
