This is just a bit of fun. It's far too bright, it uses the original promo art from 2008 and the back of the book is from the cover design of 'Twinkle Little Star'. Neverthless, I thought I'd post it because it's a good idea of what we're thinking about for the actual cover.

TAI T625 Mock Up at Farnborough Airshow 16/7/18

A gift from Henry at Workcycles 7 or 8 years ago, I quickly mocked-up random parts at the Workcycles Veemarkt shop to a Burco Opafiets frame out of a bin: random mismatched 700c wheelset with Sachs drum up front, sturmey 3 speed drum in the back, '80s Union fenders, new Azor fork, lights, handlebars, etc. Workcycles then shipped the bike over to me in Florida when I got back and I assembled it properly. The Burco is still to this day my favourite bike to ride daily. It's very comfortable but also very quick. It is quite unique in that these frames originally came with big 635 x 42cm tires. The slimmer wheels and fenders really make the bike, as well as the slammed bars and sachs trigger shifter on the seatstay. Last year i busted the sun gear of the SA hub, and combined with the fact that the rear wheel had 2 broken spokes and cracks in the rim at 6 or 7 of the spoke holes, i decided to rebuild the rear wheel with a new stainless rim, stainless 13g spokes, and a brand-new SA 3 speed drum, since i had only a very few replacement axles and want to keep them for FG rebuilds (dyno four).

I had printing issues and didn't get to show this in class. Actually finished it around 2:00 and ran... but it was over. TT_TT

I have a couple quite different ideas for your pillow/mini. This one is a medallion-type with a center start and a flying geese border. What do you think of grey as a background? I wouldn't be using solids in the actual piece - it would be scrappy - but this is just for a sense.

Control rods for Plum Brook's Mock-Up Reactor, which entered the core from above. In the Plum Brook reactor, the control rods entered from below. Three types of control rods were used in the Plum Brook reactor: two hydraulically controlled regulating rods to provide precise control of the reactor power level; three mechanically control reflector rods to provide a coarser level of control (the reflector rods had a quick release to allow them to drop and scram the reactor, if necessary); and five fueled shim rods, which performed the same function as the reflector rods.
