What I really understand about photography is to capture light or time in a particular frame. Technically speaking, trapping a moment or a moment in a way - that's probably the simple definition of photography. But the story of the moment always stays as a memory...

This picture is a moment of memory like this. Telling the efforts of his mother, grandfather and uncle to frame the moment the two brothers. Their Mother and grandfather repeatedly were calling them by their name to look at the camera from behind and to laugh . Then they were looking around and posing for pictures on their uncle's mobile camera.

I tried my best to frame this effort.

In the recent rains (yes, rains, a miracle for us people in Vellore !!) this beautiful dark green plant which spreads on the ground came to life in our garden. It is just like an emerald carpet spread on the floor with lovely little yellow flowers !!

On the left you can see a thorny stem called "Thoothuvalai" in Tamil, (Solanum Trilobatum) which is a nice herb for curing cold and cough.

And a few dry neem leaves add spice to the frame !!!

Green is the colour of life !!!

Photo taken from the car while driving with a mobile camera so the quality is not so good but I wanted to capture this moment that I thought was so beautiful. After a few minutes it was completely dark.

One of my recent favorite..

Shot in a backyard of a hardware store where I went to get some stuff. I climbed on an adjacent broken desert cooler to get the height. A merge of two shots to get all the three shots in frame. This was taken with a Samsung Galaxy SII mobile camera.

Shadows and City Edition

Went for a run today and just couldn't resist to take this shot. The shadows just created such great lines that I had to stop and compose my shot. Reminded my of a shot my flickr friend Jawdoc uploaded recently. If you guys haven't already check out his images, you are missing out! I got lucky with this runner coming my way so it can i guess be still classified as street :P

Here I found a feather boa that came inside a perfume set that my brother gave to my mother for her birthday...I liked it but I never thought it could be useful for dolls...I was kinda playing with it and Liddy and also was a good excuse to try the mobile camera. :3
