Using my mobile camera to get the typical rotorblade effect on this shot I took from the window of a tiny plane we used to cross from Kirkwall on Orkney to Edinburgh.
When spring came, and we were all excited about green leaves, flowers and bugs, I figured the last thing people wanted to be reminded of was icy cold winter, so I kept my icicle images archived. But now that some of us are going through heat waves and dry spells, I figured an icicle image might be a nice way to cool off ;-)
To be honest, this was one of my favorite icicle images, and I forgot about it for awhile. This is actually my "Encore" icicle (see link below) except this image was taken with my camera. The previous series of images of this same icicle were taken with my mobile. I like the deep colors the mobile camera captures, but I like the clarity the regular camera captured in this image. This is in Cambridge, England. I was riding a punt when I took this picture enjoying myself thoroughly :D While punting, we passed buildings and bridges almost of all of them many many years old. I was really absorbed in everything I saw there. :)

I discovered this beautiful pine in the mist on my daily morning trip yesterday morning. Unfortunately without my camera gear, so it is shot with a mobile camera,
A wildfire that broke out on the Greek island of Chios last Monday morning. Rumor has it that a well known member of the local community tried to clear his garden by flaming the dry weeds. Unfortunately, the fire spread quickly and out of control due to strong winds blowing in the area.
By the evening, more than 140 firefighters, along with eight teams of firefighters specialized in wildfires, seven water-dropping planes and three helicopters were fighting the blaze. Media reported that about 24 hours later firefighting efforts were largely successful, but five firefighters were injured, homes needed to be evacuated and approximately 3,000 acres of forest and olive groves were burned.

I am very sorry for consecutive posting.
I just leave it here before the season moves on (actually already winter now). This was from 2 weeks ago.
I've seen this type of photos a lot on other SNS and wanted to try once. Many people especially young ones use mobile cameras very skilfully. Mine is iPhone5, about 6 year old model. There is a limit in resolution.

This is an amazing function of my Huawei P20 Pro Leica Camera called silk water. Mobile camera is able to take a well exposed photo whatever the exposure time without ND filter. You can see the result on the screen on real time and stop exposure at any time.
Leaves are also pretty ! Decided to focus on the leaf of a road side shrub. With my mobile camera.
It always the flowers that get the limelight and leaves are poor cousins

Testing my old Fuji X-E1 last summer (hadn't used it in over a decade). Must say that I like this, the ancient camera's testing result much more than the output of the current top mobile cameras. This is of course a subjective.

Shot in raw format and applied the Lightroom Fuji PROVIA/STANDARD profile and made some basic adjustments.
The only thing I little don't like is the color balance of the blue tones, but blue in general is a bit of a weak point of Fujix's color science.

Die Speed Graphic von 1948 und die Pentax auto 110 aus den 1970er Jahren sind momentan die größte und die kleinste Kamera in meinem Besitz. Am vorletzten Wochenende habe ich beide zu einem Spaziergang durch den ziemlich leeren Münchner Nordfriedhof mitgenommen.
