This is a photograph from the first annual running of the "Mullingar 10" - a 10 mile road race and fun run which was held in Dalystown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Sunday July 27th 2014 at 11:00. Dalystown is a rural parish situated about 6 miles south of Mullingar. The race was organised by Mullingar Harriers who promoted the event. There was almost 400 participants in the event. The race follows a simple 'figure of 8' route. The race starts from Dalystown National School and heads north briefly to Dalystown cross-roads where there is a left turn which brings runners along the L1122 road. The only real cross-over of the route is at the 2.5 and 7.5 mile mark. The race completes a loop between 2.5 and the 7.5 mile mark which brings runners into the locality of Ballinagore. The final 2.5 miles of the race brings runners back through Cloneheigue and the final 1.5 miles of the race is along straight road heading north back to Dalystown and the finish outside of Wallace's Pub.
The course was a mixture of long straight level sections of road with some short rolling hills which made for a challenging but overall fair course. The race took place is warm temperatures with a strong southerly breeze in the face of runners for stretches along the route. However some beautiful mature hedgerows along the mostly rural roads provided shade and shelter from the sun for runners.
This was the first year of the event and going on today's event it will become an annual fixture on the calendar. Clubs from all over the North Leinster region and beyond were represented today. Refreshments were provided outside Wallace's Pub at the Finish line. Well done to Mullingar Harriers and all the many volunteers who helped make today's race a wonderful success.

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. CAMP ZAMA, Japan — Hundreds of American and Japanese service members, civilians and their families gathered under the partly sunny sky over Camp Zama to celebrate the conclusion of Army Birthday Week with a culmination of sports, competitions and ceremonies conducted June 17, 2016.
The fifth and final day of outdoor activities opened with a command-wide fun run hosted by Army Maj. Gen. James F. Pasquarette, commanding general, U.S. Army Japan (USARJ). Pasquarette’s open invitation permitted the men and women in uniform to bring their friends and loved ones. The result produced an amusing mixture of organized ranks and files of service members running in cadence with a colorful cast of spouses, children, baby strollers and small dogs trotting along the flanks.
Regardless their age, size, speed, creed or breed, every participant ended the two-mile route soaked from head to toe compliments of the Camp Zama Directorate of Emergency Services’ firetruck salute.
Later that morning, the community gathered at the Camp Zama High School stadium to join or cheer their respective units in the Camp Zama Army Birthday Week Championship finals. Hundreds of spectators set their eyes on the track to watch some of the post’s fastest sprinters attempt to break their personal best in the 100-meter dash. The attendees’ gaze then shifted to the field to witness a friendly soccer match between Camp Zama’s U.S. Soccer Team and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s Central Readiness Force (CRF). The 30-minute see-saw battle ended with a 3-2 penalty shootout that clenched victory for the red, white and blue.
Between the match the U.S. Army and CRF’s strongest troops squared off in a best-of-three tug-of-war competition at the 50-yard line. After the U.S. team literally pulled a win in the final round, the troops gave way for the children of Camp Zama to take a tug on the rope.
The physical prowess and playful banter among the teams gave way to solemn pride as Pasquarette led 14 Soldiers in reciting the Oath of Enlistment during a mass reenlistment ceremony that honored their decision to voluntarily extend their service to their country and the United States Army.
The festivities concluded with an award presentation that recognized the winners of the 2016 USARJ Army Sports Week Competition. U.S. Army Aviation Battalion took first place, while the 78th Signal Battalion and the U.S. Army Medical Activity-Japan earned second and third place, respectively.
Pasquarette and Army Command Sgt. Maj. Richard R. Clark, command sergeant major, USARJ, also recognized other notable individuals and organizations that recently demonstrated the honor and pride of the Camp Zama community.
Fara McKinley, president of the Zama Community Spouses Association, received an award for her association’s donation of water bottles for the competitors and spectators. USARJ also recognized Shinobu Matsui, general manager of the Camp Zama Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), for earning the Director/CEO Cup, the highest honor for operational excellence among all AAFES chains in the “Small Exchange” category.
Pasquarette and Clark also presented certificates, medals or trophies to the U.S. Army Japan Band for winning the 2016 Music Performance Team of the Year award, Army Sgt. Drew Ayers and Army Spc. Lucas Patron for their selection as the 2016 USARJ Best Warrior Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year, and Sheyenne Sullivan for her exemplary performance in her assistance to displaced evacuees effected by April’s earthquakes in Kumamoto, Japan.

Flourless Chocolate Cake:
Ingredients
8 eggs, cold
1 pound unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup granular Splenda1
2 sticks (16 tablespoons) unsalted butter
¼ cup strong coffee or espresso
General Instructions per serving
Line the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan with parchment and generously grease the sides. Wrap the bottom and up the sides of the pan with heavy duty aluminum foil to make it waterproof. Set the springform pan in a roasting pan you will subsequently fill with boiling water.
Place the eggs into a mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer on high speed for about 5 minutes, until their volume doubles. Beat in the sweetener.
In a large heatproof mixing bowl, set over a pan of barely simmering water, place the chocolate, butter, and coffee and stir frequently until the mixture becomes smooth.
Fold about one-third of the egg foam into the chocolate mixture. When just a few streak of egg remain visible, fold in half of the remaining egg foam in the same manner. Finally fold the remaining portion of egg foam until all is completely incorporated.
Scrape the batter into the prepared springform pan, smooth the surface with the spatula.
Set the roasting pan into the oven and carefully pour boiling water to come half way up the sides.
Bake in a 325 degree preheated oven about 22 to 25 minutes, until an instant read thermometer inserted into the center reads 140 degrees or until the sides pull away slightly and a thin shiny brownie-like crust has formed on the surface.
When cooked, remove the springform from the water bath, cool on wire rack to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to several (3 to 4) days.
When ready to serve, remove the springform sides, invert cake onto waxed paper, remove parchment liner from bottom, invert cake again onto a serving plate.
Garnish each slice with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream, plate each slice on a pool of Raspberry Coulis, or drizzle the plate with a tablespoon of Sweet Cabernet Reduction, the latter two of which will add some carbs, so be sure to count them.
1You may substitute 24 packets of Splenda or Stevia plus 1 tablespoon ThickenThin Not Sugar or 1 cup granular xylitol or erythritol for the sweetener in this recipe.
Nutritional Facts 9.5 grams cake, 9.8 protein
I made brandied cherries to put on top which were wicked good! 4 cups frozen dark sweet cherries, 1 cup of good brady, heat on med-high stiring and reduce. You can add a little splenda if you like, but I found it sweet enough. You can also add a little cornstarch to thicken it up a little more. This topping is not SUPER low carb, but its really freaking good. And the cake is really low carb. Sorry no carb count for cherry topping.

I took a photo of this one back in Sep 2010 but the quality was not good and didn’t do justice for this beautiful piece so I am retaking some photos. As a kid I had one with camouflaged Marine uniform which is common for this one (and all Land Adventurers) however this one is in green Army uniform and it is somewhat rare. Of course being the Muscle Body arms and neck joints have gone deteriorated decades ago but they are still holding inside the bubble. I have collected many loose Muscle Body figures of all Adventure Team members including this Eagle Eye version (Thank you Palitoy for the invention of Eagle Eye!) and I have fixed them all to get them equipped with many different adventure gears and outfits. I just love the AT!! For taking photos I have opened the display cabinet after so many years but the Joe smell is still there strong as ever! Kinda mixture of old plastic and aged clothes which only Joe collectors know and understand what I mean.
When you hear the term "yacht harbor", it usually conjures up images of guys with cravats and captain's hats, swanky clubhouses, and well-heeled folks living the good life.
The Point San Pablo Yacht Harbor is pretty much the exact opposite of that. Isolated in a murky corner of the San Pablo Bay near Richmond, this place is a funky mixture of ancient fishing boats, makeshift houseboats, and derelict half-sunken vessels too weird to describe. Unless you're behind the wheel of something similar, the place is only accessible via a single, pothole-ridden road that winds over the hills past Point Molate (which, incidentally, provides some great views of the bay). The parking area isn't paved, and features a weird assortment of ramshackle boats, abandoned motorhomes, and dumpsters full of junk.
With a tiny bit of caution, we walked around a bit and shot a few photos. Even thought it looked scary, the people around there were quite friendly. I got the impression that it's a pretty tight-knit community, and did notice that there were some genuinely cool-looking boats that people clearly took good care of. Many others, though, were frightening.
I kept trying to think of a suitable way to describe the place, and the best I could come up with was "floating trailer park". That's not even really very accurate, since most trailer parks are nowhere near this funky. 'Funky' doesn't even come close to describing this place properly, so you'll need to see it for yourself to truly understand what I'm getting at.
If anybody reading this happens to live there, please don't take offense to any of this. You probably already know that it's impossible to accurately describe the place without sounding fairly insulting.

Some Alfa tinkering this morning, checking and cleaning the carburettor mixture screws and changing the tired looking O rings that seal them. The screws themselves look fine, no sign of excess wear or being bent.
St Mary, Huntingfield, Suffolk
Follow these journeys as they happen at Last of England twitter.
It was the first day of the 2019 Easter holidays, and what better way to spend a Monday morning than heading off for a church-exploring bike ride rather than going to work? I caught the train up to Halesworth, and then cycled off out into the hills. The villages and their pretty parish churches come thick and fast around here, and almost all of them are open to pilgrims and strangers daily. There is a good mixture too, round towers, square towers, hardly-any-left towers, reed-thatched roofs, beflinted-porches, and all manner of treasures inside. A fair number of East Anglia's best small churches are in this area. But even given this variety, there is nowhere else in East Anglia quite like Huntingfield church.
This is one of Suffolk's more obscure villages, but the Huntingfield name was that of one of the county's most significant families. Huntingfield is the nearest village to the great pile of Heveningham Hall, with one of the largest Georgian frontages in England. It was rebuilt by the Huntingfields in the 18th Century. Standing on the road and looking across the sheep-scattered lawns to the great building, it is easy to imagine the gulf between the landed gentry and their poor workers in those days. Sandwiched between the traumas of the 17th Century and the energy of the 19th Century, it was the landowners of the 18th Century who had every reason to think that their world was permanent and unchanging, that it would always be as they knew it. Farming sheep, collecting art, patronising musicians, tinkering with primitive science and technology, dispensing benevolent largesse to the poor on their estate - it is a world that is at once attractive and appalling. For them, the Church of England was both an arm of the state dispensing laws, justice and charity, and the setting for the weekly liturgical reinforcement of the puritan-refracted Elizabethan settlement.
But the Industrial Revolution would bring it all to an end, and in more ways than one. In the second half of the latter century, many parish churches were drawn by the excitement of the age into major reconstructions and revisions. Their impulse came from Oxford, where the Tractarians had a vision of the Church of England as a national Church, no longer a protestant sect but restored to the catholicity of its roots, and from Cambridge, where the ecclesiologists decided what a building of the national Church should properly look like. As the young men graduated and were presented to parishes across the country, their ideas spread like wildfire. They had come from their univserities to churches fitted out for protestant worship, with whitewashed walls and box pews focused on the high pulpit, the rarely-used altar gathering dust in the chancel or even discarded. Preaching houses rather than sacramental spaces, and any surviving traces of the building's medieval life survived, perhaps, simply because they were not understood.
Essentially, what happened in England between about 1830 and 1870 was a cultural revolution, a new wave of ideas and the reaction to them. The litugical changes proposed by the Oxford Movement were, at first, objectionable, and then merely controversial. But gradually they seeped into the mainstream, until by about 1890 they had become as natural as the air we breathe. Galvanised by the ferment of ideas and the possibilities of the industrial age, these young men convinced their rich patrons, revolutionised their buildings, and in so doing altered their parishes forever. They often looked to London stars like Scott and Butterfield, or local plodders like Phipson, or else mavericks like Salvin. The demands of the new liturgical arrangements, coupled with a renewed sense of the need to glorify God, led them into what was often a rebuilding rather than a restoration.
Internal decorations were, perhaps, the bespoke work of the architect, Witness Phipson's meticulous attention to detail at St Mary le Tower, Ipswich. Other restorers relied on the big picture, a vision that encompassed walls and floors, but left the fittings to others. By the centenary of the movement in the 1930s, one Anglican clergyman could observe "It is as if the Reformation had never happened". Well, not quite. And now, the pendulum has swung the other way, leaving the ritualists high and dry. But the evidence of the energy of those days survives, especially at Huntingfield, where William Holland, the vicar, drove the Oxford Movement through the heart of the parish, like a motorway through a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The Hollands were the patrons of the living, which gave them the authority and the money to reimagine Huntingfield church on a grand scale. Oxford and Cambridge universites were exclusively for men, of course, but it so happened that William Holland had an energetic and visionary wife. Between 1859 and 1866, Mrs Mildred Holland planned, designed and executed the most elaborate redecoration of a church this county had seen since the Reformation. For seven years, she lay on her back at the top of scaffolding, first in the chancel (angels) and then in the nave (saints on the ceilure, fine angels on the beam ends), gilding, lettering and painting this most glorious of small church roofs. Her husband kept a journal throughout this period, and there is no suggestion that she had any assistance, beyond that of workmen to raise the scaffolding, and a Mr E.L. Blackburne FSA, who was, apparently, an 'authority on medieval decoration'. J.P. St Aubyn was responsible for the structural restoration of this largely 15th century building, and it is very restrained and merciful. But you come here to see the painted roofs, which are perfectly splendid. You can activate the floodlighting with a pound coin in a box at the west end of the north aisle, and the illuminated work is breath-taking.
What else is there to see? Some 15th Century window borders in the east window of the south aisle depict hares and a little dog with a bell around his neck. And what is that at the bottom, a dragon, or a winged lion? Evidence of the church's continued High Church tradition into the 20th Century is in statues of the Blessed Virgin and child flanked by St Francis and St Dominic in a triple image niche set in a pillar of the north arcade. Was it originally for a rood group, perhaps above an altar? Any church is a palimpsest, history written and rewritten over its skin as a touchstone to changing liturgical imperatives and the long generations of its people. Across this canvas the enthusiasms and Huntingfield in Mildred Holland's time are writ large, and will last long.
And there is something else, and a great curiosity. Ann Owen, the Vicar's wife in the neighbouring parish of Heveningham, is also said to have been responsible for 19th Century work in the church there, this time in the form of stained glass. Visiting Heveningham, I am afraid it is difficult for me to find this convincing, although of course one likes to think it was so, and that the two women artists were friends, or possibly even rivals. But Mildred's story has been brilliantly captured in a recent novel, The Huntingfield Paintress by Pamela Holmes. Pamela tells me that 'it was a comment of yours about Mildred and Ann Owen which sparked my determination to write my first novel' which is very kind of her, although I am sure it was easy to be inspired when one stands here surrounded by Mildred Holland's work.
You might thnk that the towering font cover is also by her, but in fact it is her memorial, placed here by her husband, as is the art nouveau lectern. It is as if her art was a catalyst, inspiring others to acts of beauty. She died in the 1870s, predeceasing her husband by twenty years. They are both now buried by the churchyard gate. How fitting, that they should lie in the graveyard of the church they loved so much, and to which they gave so much of their time, energy and money.

Working Principle
Fan aspirates air into combustion room through shutters and forms a controlled mixture with the gas coming from installation.
This mixture is burned by the burner. The heat formed advances along combusTİon room with the help of burner fan and upper aspirating fan and passes through transiTİon channel and is transmitted to air channels of product chamber.
Thereby heat is transferred to product and some of heated air is extracted in a controlled manner and remaining heated air enters the system again and is mixed with the atmosphere air received from cooling shutters.
Air is irculated along the system in order to reduce its humidity (saturation). Humidity of the product within this loop is reduced to desired humidity ratio and then product asses from unloading mechanism to hopper and exits the system.
Grain which is equal to the amount of product leaving the system is added to system with the help of sensors. It is prevented that heat goes toflow pipe through transition connection by means of this adding process.
General Specifacition
1.) It has galvanized and thoroughly fixed strong base structure.
2.) It allow to work easily under different products and product conditions thanks to grain intake system.
3.) Interior roof and supports ensure that humidifiedgrain passes through chamber as granulated.
4.) Turbulent air circulation is avoided thanks to low static pressure and homogenous heat dissipation.
5.) In emergency situations, machine's burning system is closed thanks to heat sensors.
6.) Temperature values is increased to maximum value from nominal by means of air mixer.
7.) Burners keep temperatures needed fixed continuously.
8.) Burner system consists of Elster Krom Schröder or Dungs brand high-safe devices.
9.) Burner system is worked by using fuels like LPG, LNG (in gas phase) and NG

14.) High capacity fans are covered by metal sheets, black sheets and coated with static paint and burners are covered with stainless and galvanized metal sheets. Doors and covers opened into these
sections allow easy intervention.
15.) Heat loss is reduced to minimum thanks to external heat-insulation.
16.) Whole heat flow, air flow and temperature values within the system are reached and adjusted
with the Siemens control panels (PLC).

"Calcozincite." The name is not a recognized mineral species. It's a description for an unusual form of calcium-rich zincite -- a mixture of calcite, zincite and tremolite that occurs only at the Sterling Hill Mine. These species have been admixed during post-deposition deformation of the Sterling Hill ore body. The distinctive orange blend is usually found as a material lining slickensides fractures. On the outskirts of Algeciras there is a small old building. On the front of it there large shelving, on them is a collection of old items. I've been passing the building for years, yet never had the time or opportunity to investigate any further. Until now.
It is a Sunday and I poke my camera lens through the meshed fence that surrounds the front of the building. I'm wary as I'm not sure if someone lives here, it is a shop, or maybe even art!
The collection of items is truly diverse and bizarre. Its what you'd call an old style junk shop.
On the wall are complete panels for a old SEAT car. On the shelves are baskets, a motorcycle helmet, ear defenders, car mirrors, a dartboard, car body trim, house lighting, a musical keyboard, SEAT car badge, a computer printer, a telephone, books, ornaments, suitcases (various styles), a mirror, washbasins (2 off), a typewriter, tennis balls, a life ring, a coffee machine, various umbrellas, a heated serving tray, hot water bottles, golf club bag, a chrome plastic cap for a car's tow bar, a doll, a television...

The Walled Garden at Felbrigg Hall is widely renowned as one of East Anglia's finest. Get up close to the double borders and herb beds and really breathe in the scent of lavender, sage and mint. You can find a good many modern surprises within this traditionally laid out garden.

Dark-Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Squares (p. 283 of Mad Hungry Cravings: 173 Recipes for the Food You Want to Eat Right Now). The only issue my taste testers had with the squares was that the peanut butter flavour overpowered the blend of ingredients rather than remaining a separate entity, and that the whole mixture was a little dense in texture (they suggested more marshmallows, which I definitely plan to try later on!).

This is a photograph from the first annual running of the "Mullingar 10" - a 10 mile road race and fun run which was held in Dalystown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Sunday July 27th 2014 at 11:00. Dalystown is a rural parish situated about 6 miles south of Mullingar. The race was organised by Mullingar Harriers who promoted the event. There was almost 400 participants in the event. The race follows a simple 'figure of 8' route. The race starts from Dalystown National School and heads north briefly to Dalystown cross-roads where there is a left turn which brings runners along the L1122 road. The only real cross-over of the route is at the 2.5 and 7.5 mile mark. The race completes a loop between 2.5 and the 7.5 mile mark which brings runners into the locality of Ballinagore. The final 2.5 miles of the race brings runners back through Cloneheigue and the final 1.5 miles of the race is along straight road heading north back to Dalystown and the finish outside of Wallace's Pub.
The course was a mixture of long straight level sections of road with some short rolling hills which made for a challenging but overall fair course. The race took place is warm temperatures with a strong southerly breeze in the face of runners for stretches along the route. However some beautiful mature hedgerows along the mostly rural roads provided shade and shelter from the sun for runners.
This was the first year of the event and going on today's event it will become an annual fixture on the calendar. Clubs from all over the North Leinster region and beyond were represented today. Refreshments were provided outside Wallace's Pub at the Finish line. Well done to Mullingar Harriers and all the many volunteers who helped make today's race a wonderful success.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase.
