I was returning from an afternoon walk in the woods as the sun was setting. The mist began to rise over the fields and when I rounded the corner to look down into the valley towards Beldlam Bottom, this scene met my eyes. Quite extraordinary. On the right you can see the steep road winding up out of the other side of this valley but the bottom of the road is shrouded in mist.
