Here today and Gone tonight. Please bring it back.

Is winter over soon? ;)

As legend has it long before Cv-19, Lord Berkeley used to sit up on top smoking his pipe, and dangling his feet over the edge enjoying the views hence the name Lord Berkeley's Seat.

The whole face of An Teallach is undercut at this point, so the exposure is dramatic right down to the paddling pool below.

Here's to dipping our toes in the cooling waters again!

PS - special kudos to anyone who can get a bearing on my bright red tent as in "Where's Wally"? Best advice to view in double large for any tryers out there.🎪

To me, this is the best season to visit Provence….Unfortunately, I can’t go there this year…But, every night, when I lay down on my bed, I smell it thanks to the Lavender Pillow that I’ve got from one of the smallest villages in Provence…. To the memory of my lovely Provence, I initiated a new photo series: Missing Provence. Within that project, every day I will share a photo that I took from my previous trips….to send my regards and love there…to nice people embellishing everything, to lavender soul and to its magic… Here is the 20th one… I miss you Provence… BeNowMeHere, Provence, France, 2015 via 500px bit.ly/2anmAP3

In the morning when you wake up

I like to believe you are thinking of me

And when the sun comes through your window

I like to believe you've been dreaming of me

Where the eagles fly on a mountain high

Love lift us up where we belong

Far from the world below

Where the clear winds blow..."

How do I live? How do I breathe?

When you're not here, I'm suffocating.

I know, I know. I have a reputation for actually enjoying winter...but it has been grey and cold for a couple days now. I like my winters to be sunny!

So while going through the archives, I've been remembering some sweet summer days!

Simply enjoying the peace in my heart

…on an overcast rainy day

following my own path.

learning to sit with uncertainty.

embracing impermanence.

training the dragon in my heart.

reflecting on the mind,

so excitable, so uncertain,

so difficult to control.

inhale love… exhale doubt.

TP to Endless: Antipodes - An island at the end of the world, where seething seas break against the rocks of the coast. Where craggy and low, rugged hills offer views to forever. Where rural life is quiet, but full, and nothing really matters but the moment.

The native grass, Arrhenatherum elatius, in flower this July.

Todo lo hizo hermoso en su tiempo; y ha puesto eternidad en el corazón de ellos, sin que alcance el hombre a entender la obra que ha hecho Dios desde el principio hasta el fin.

I wish the lady to get well soon.

Normally, by early May I would be packing my bags, looking forward to working another Summer season in Norway and Scandinavia, guiding tourists around and showing them the beauty of those countries. So it feels strange to be at home with no plans to head north in the near future. Last year I did a new tour for my company to the Lofoten islands. This is a photographers paradise, and even though I was working I was still able to catch this lovely view of Sakrisøya on a beautiful August day.
