Its funny how easily I get along with kids more than adults. Found this little troublemaker in his school in Khulna during their extra curricular classes.

from my mom's bag of family photos, except she's not in this series. That's my grandmother on the right, and my uncle (David) in the middle. And it might be my aunt Nancy on the left; we're not sure.
I'm not sure who took these. Probably my grandfather.
I flicked this girl at a function in audiotorium at bangalore. She was playing around with the "dupatta" that was with her and had such a mischievous smile in her eyes that it was unforgettable. I don't know her name but her face would remain in the memory for ever.
Man ki dor se rishte baandhana hai zindagi,
Jannat ke khwaab dekh, use haasil karna hai zindagi,
Baat isse puri nahi,
Shuru hoti hai zindagi.

Joey is a daredevil. He knows it scares us when he threatens to leap from the fourth floor. It seems to amuse him when I fling my hand up in a combination block/catch maneuver. After getting to know him the past couple weeks, I'm wondering how it is that he's only lost one leg in his four years of life. He does acrobatic stunts that I've never seen Midnight or Lightning do. 360's on the flying saucer, jumping from the saucer to the ramp while the flying saucer is in motion. Then jumping back onto the saucer from the ramp - again while the flying saucer is still spinning. We put up his hammock as a safety net between the 1st and 2nd floors. He jumps through it from the 2nd floor ramp to the landing. And to my horror, he thinks he can jump from the door on the fourth floor of his cage to the carpet at my feet, with no problems. I'm convinced he's a little overconfident about how that landing will go, so I'm blocking him with my left hand. He only sees that as a minor obstacle. He's already comfortable jumping onto me while I'm standing at that open door giving him fresh hay. It's only a matter of time before I have to catch this tiny ball of fur to prevent him from finding out the hard way that he cannot fly.
It's cold out, freezing rain and I was bored so I dug out some old shots and played around with desaturation.
This was originally a portrait not landscape (format) but I didn't like the p&s he has hanging on his neck. I kind of liked this crop anyway.
I used a original recipe of desaturation with a color version layered above a 100% desaturated layer. Gave the color layer a gaussian color and dropped the opacity of it to the point that he barely has color in his shirt.
