The river bank was covered with blooming tussocks of wild mint. The flowers attracted countless number of insects, bugs, flies, spiders... I took a set of pictures named "... On Mint". Hope you'll love it.

This was taken during a field trip to the local museum while the 7th graders learned about the history of making mint oil in Nakagawa. Straight from their elders. It was a badass expedition.

Larry's quest last night was to recreate a meal that we had at Babbo in NY. The menu for the evening was ambitious and involved so many yummy smells: oranges, mint, lamb, corriander, thyme, garlic. The end result was homemade ravoli and sauce that rocked my socks off. I wish I had remembered to get a picture of the final product, but by that time, I was so hungry and happy that I just ate.
