One needs a machete eventually to handle this variety. That's sage right behind it, there's a Roscoea that is being smothered by this plant too.

Glimmering Paridot, Amethyst and Olivine Swarovski crystals are nestled between twinkling Goldstone. I found these stunning purple and green lampwork beads that remind me of Venetian glass. Inside the smooth clear glass surface is a whirlwind of swirling purple, green and metallic goldish bronze. I have never found anything like these! Mixed textures and gold-filled accents make this such a luscious and luxuriant piece. Triple strand.
A conversation piece for sure!
The shortest strand is approximately 15 inches and the longest strand is approximately 19 inches. Closure is a delicate designed three hook box clasp. This one of a kind piece will make a wonderful addition to any wardrobe.

The mint I planted in the garden is starting to spread!! I'm so excited but Mercury Man is kinda leery. He wanted to know how much/how far I was going to let it spread. I really don't know. This right here is just a few cups of tea worth. I'm anxious to get much more.

I love having a camera (with a macro function) small enough that I can take it everywhere...
This is apparently a Bombus terrestris worker - a common-or-garden bumblebee, in other words (thanks, Max xx!)
We grow it. Or really, it grows itself like mad and there is nothing we can do to stop it. I love that about mint.
It is not unusual for a person to buy a box of Candy Canes around the holidays. This is where Mint Candy Annie comes in. Like the candy, they are both visually decorative on the tree and a sweet treat that can be enjoyed on occasion by everyone. However, one box of Candy Canes never seems to be enough. This holiday season while your grabbing for that second or third box of Candy Canes, go ahead and pick up a couple more Annie's for yourself. Com'on what's one more. You know you just have to have them.
