An old-fashioned variety of mint. It's the mint that grew at my family home & which my dad used to make into wonderful mint sauce as he had the patience to chop the leaves very finely. So it reminds me of family & our traditional roast dinners on Sundays. I brought this plant from the original when I moved to my present home - a treasured memento.

Explored ...

This is a wasp drinking nectar from my Mint garden. I guess he has a date later and he thinks he'll get lucky! LOL ..

This is a old picture I took. I did upload a different copy and I had few other angle of this guy drinking Mint for that Minty Fresh breath ... :)

Wasp eats Bees! Usually they are after those Bee hives where they can gorge on those Larvae, so they traps bees by waiting for them at location (e.g. Flowers) and put some sort of faramon on the bee which acts as radar detector for the Wasp to locate the hive .. .now isn't that clever? So I assume this guy was just faking it, and waiting for a poor bee who will bring doom for the colony!

Spotted heading northbound at Brno Královo Pole in April 2023, IDS Cargo 365 003 [ex-Belgian Class 12] was at the business end of a rake of mint Ermewa [F-ERSA] registered Sggmrss 90' container flats.
