I think this is marsh mint (also known as field mint, Mentha arvensis), though I suppose it might be pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium). Both are European invasives - in other words, weeds. This mint grows in many places around Brooktrails, blooming in July in beds of small streams and other places where runoff had lingered longest.
The first herbs I moved into a planter were my mint plants; I’m anxious to get them settled and large enough that I can start cutting from them. The planter looked great and it smelled incredible! But...

Mint Julep, my Minty Magic Blythe. Finally received the shoe from the trade so I could photograph her. I like her stock clothes so I wanted to photograph her wearing it.
An Austin Seven, decked out in Uncle Joe's Mint Balls livery. The Longbridge-built vehicle belongs to a member of the Cornwall Austin Seven Club and is pictured in the Snowdonia National Park car park at Llangower. Club members, and their Austins, were holidaying near Dolgellau. Uncle Joe's Mint Balls were first produced in 1898 by Ellen Santus from the kitchen of her small terraced home in Wigan. The recipe remains a closely-guarded secret of the Santus family, whose confectionary is still made in the town. The firm's slogan is 'Making Sweets to Make Life Sweeter'.

গোলাপ দিয়ে পারফিউম হয় জেনেছি, টুথ পেষ্ট হয় তা জানা ছিল না! 'রোজি মিন্ট' নামে টুথপেষ্ট গত সপ্তাহে আমাদের বাসায় নতুন অতিথি হয়ে এসেছে।
পারফিউমের আঠায় ও গন্ধে মুখ ভরে যায় কিনা - প্রথম প্রথম এ ভয়ে ব্যবহার করতে চাইনি। পরে, পুত্র 'কওনের' অনুরোধে মুখে দিলাম ।
- সত্যিই অসাধারন গন্ধ ও কোয়ালিটি! আমার প্রিজোডিস ভেঙ্গে গেছে!

জাপানীরা চরম পুঁজিবাদী ও ব্যবসায়ী হলেও একুট ভিন্ন ধরণের! অস্বাভাবিকতাকে মেইনষ্ট্রিমে এনে নতুন সেবা ও সৃজনশীলতার সাথে ব্যবসা করতে এরা পছন্দ করে। নতুন ও দামী জিনিষ কিনে, পকেটের টাকা গেলেও, ঠকার ভয় নাই জাপানে; যেমনটা আছে চাইনিজ ও অন্যদেশের পণ্যে এবং সেবার ক্ষেত্রে!

I took this mint cutting from my parents' house. They've been trying for years to kill the patch outside their kitchen window, and the cutting took off like CRAZY in the pot. It's all full and bushy and smells WONDERFUL!

I had mint tea in the morning, in the afternoon, at night. Never had better breath.
I made these heart-shaped for the love of Valentine's Day. Also I thought it upped the cuteness. I don't have any photos from dipping because it was a mess and I didn't have a photo assistant. Dipping tip: I needed twice as much melted chocolate and I found mixing a tablespoon or two of coconut oil into it helped both the flavor and the ease of coating the cookies.
