We went to Lake Pleasant for the day with friends. We had a blast. This raft/tow behind is awesome. Even I rode! (we all have the sore arms to prove it)
Thanks Nottinghams!

'Molly the Minor', a mobile advert for the 'Isle of Wight Pearl', a family owned and run business which has called the IoW home for almost 30 years. This Morris has a good few miles more on it's proverbial clock though, first registered in 1964.

At Deadman's Crossing -- MP BE 93.5 -- Q217 made an unscheduled stop. The battery knife switch on the lead unit somehow became loose and opened on its own, causing a loss of some control functions. 20 minutes and a plastic zip tie later, they were back on the move.
After having my hair cut today I spotted this parked opposite the grey Audi - a beautiful example of the breed - Minors are suprisingly common in Cambridge and Newmarket and this is one of the last models ever made, denoted by its J-suffix registration. Although by 1971 it was long-since outmoded by the competiton, its simplistic underpinnings and charming styling kept it popular...and still is forty years on. Probably could still earn a living for a self-employed trader too.

My twelfth car, a 1960 Morris Minor. Like my Austin, it wasn't pristine, or even close. Painted matte black by one of its many owners somewhere down the line, which I thought really added to the rugged look of the car. It was a daily runner for me, and by far one of my best. I got comments and smiles everyday, which I liked. Another car I do regret selling.
My old company van in the back too, a 2006 VW Caddy automatic.
