This picture sums up the swiss mindset. It's beautiful but private and you're politely invite to respect what is not yours.
I call it that 90's hip hop style something some new york rapper would have had in his album booklet
A group of U.S. Army Reserve military police Soldiers participate in the Active Shooter Threat Response Training taught at an Army Reserve installation in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sept. 27-29. This training is the first program in the Army Reserve to use the latest tactics taught by federal agents to defend against active shooter incidents, which will eventually train all military police armed guards across the 200th Military Police Command. One of my goals this year is to plan an school project using #designthinking—beginning to end. DT ranks as the #1 mindset/process Education I believe education needs to utilize. (DT has been in business world) There is little awareness/discussion of it in the Midwest. Cool thing is DT can help spur big shifts in learning & culture. If you look at innovative schools like @vidasharks & classes like @dwettrick you’ll find DT. **I reached out to @goleadlocal for their advice & suggestions on how to get started in DT. They answered my million Qs and suggested these Field Books. Will be my firbst full DT project and I can’t wait. #gottadoitmyself to lead it out in the future. WEEKEND READING of AWESOME. #designthinking #empathymaps #thinkgloballeadlocal
Members of MindSET (Mathematics INstruction using Decision Science and Engineering Tools), a program created by the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi, visited Davis Aerospace High School in Detroit on May 3 to introduce high school students to STEM-related projects. Engineering students Amani Alkayyali, biomedical engineering; Pawel Popiel, chemical engineering; Christina Wong, biomedical engineering; Aliya Jawad, biomedical engineering; and Dan Putt, chemical engineering; led high school students in building penny launchers and constructing load-bearing towers out of index cards and paper clips.
MindSET aims to give back to the community by communicating basic engineering concepts to secondary school students via activity modules, keeping in mind that perhaps more important than the transmission of information is the kindling of students' curiosity. JAMIESON, Oregon -- Farmers Kenneth and Sheri Jensen, and their daughter, Rose, hosted a group of natural resource professionals to learn about how their farming practices maximize soil health while benefiting crop production and grazing. The Jensen's are 100% no-till, which means they farm without disturbing the soil with conventional tillage. They also leave crop residue on the fields to provide soil cover; and they plant cover crops to protect the soil during the winter months. They use cattle to graze down the cover crops. The Jensen's were early adopters of the soil health movement in Eastern Oregon. They continue to try new approaches and embrace an innovative mindset to solve farming challenges while keeping their soil as healthy as possible. NRCS photo by Tracy Robillard, May 14, 2019.

This is one of our students, Turan, before his title fight on Sept.19. He wasn't posing, I just caught him in this moment. Just look at his eyes and you know that he is ready.
Unfortunately, he got robbed of a win by decision. I am still upset over the judges' decision, still not sure which fight were they watching. I think favoritism still plays a big role over skill and talent.
